For the last 2 years we have run a 10 week introductory meditation course at the Westmead Institute for Medical Research (WIMR) and we will be running another one for 2017.  

When: commencing in mid-February. 

Course Content: The course will focus on two aspects of meditation; mindfulness and the cultivation of positive emotions (e.g. kindness, friendliness, compassion, joy in the happiness of others and equanimity).

After you have attended this course, or if you already know how to meditate, you can then attend one (or all) of our three weekly regular meditation sessions held at midday until 1pm:

Mondays: Meditation with limited guidance

Wednesdays: Meditation and Buddhist exploration

Fridays: Guided meditation with a theme
